Daily reading N°2 about Paris, France

HI there,

this is the second daily drawing about my little trip to Paris. Prior to the drawing, I already knew where I was going. So the house here should not be read as my home place, or the hotel room … because I definitely didn’t stay in !

Again, I propose this as a little exercise to be edited later on with the answer.
What about that second day in Paris ? What do you think ?

This is where I went in the morning : the Moulin Rouge … Quite mythical right ? just next to my hotel, it was a small walk.

The Moulin Rouge really well in the cards through the house+heart+anchor

see how the anchor evokes the 4 sides of the windmill ?
also the House and the Heart could evoke the Sacre Coeur, but … I guess the cross would have been there … the Whip is more like showing the “stimulating” aspect of this place of the city : the Moulin Rouge, Folies Pigalle, and the Erotic museum …

This is the Sacre Coeur : I went in and it is quite breathtaking. Pictures are not allowed inside though (which I understand). I bought some stuff such as a statue of the Virgin Mary for my father who is ill and so, she will protect him. At the top of the stair, you have one of the most beautiful sight !

this is the Manege just in front of the Sacre Coeur before you take the steps up.

and a mime just as you are about to take the steps heading to the Sacre Coeur. I took so many pictures of the place !

This is Montmartre with la Butte Montmartre as it is called, with painters …

I have had the typical lunch there chez Eugene : a Fish Soup ! Of course, it is filled with tourist, but still I loved it ! There are so many things to see there … I loved the atmosphere of it …

Reading about a position at work

Here is a case analysis about situation at the workplace. Will there be a renewal of the contract ?

Cards describing the querent : The Bouquet, The Crossroad, The Storks

These cards are describing the person in front of the situation. Accepting changes gracefully, willing to take an opportunity, seeing the positive aspect in a change. The other cards in the spread were not that positive as you can read below … But it is anyway showing that even if the answer is not good in the end, she has the opportunity to bounce back, which may be more important in the long run.

the bouquet : beauty, happiness, grace, a very positive card
the crossroad : decision , moving, parting of ways
the stork : change, moving, flexibility

The Cloud, The Moon, The Snake

The surrounding energy at work : worries caused by the atmosphere at the working place which is not good. Stabbing in the back may take place, one is not anyway able to see the trouble stated there in full clarity, one can only feel it if being intuitive.

the clouds : troubles, clouded thinking, arguments
the moon : intuition, creativity, feelings (always look at the surrounding cards with the moon, it seems to grab the energy of the surrounding cards, it is a very emphatic card)
the snake : knowledge, a woman, troubles, snickering person, someone difficult ( for good or bad)

The Mice, the Fox, the House

State of things right now : one doesn’t belong to the same family as the rest of the people at work. Loss of the job is strongly indicated here. To the very least, it is very feared. To the least, the situation is eating you up (the mice) as you feel on the watch (the fox) at the working place (House associated with the fox).

the mice : loss, anxiety, nervousness
the fox someone with an agenda, elements held in the background, lies, treat (and sometimes represents work, employee)
the house : working place

The Ring, the Cross and the Child

what will happen concretely : the contract won’t be renewed. This was my conclusion in regard to the other parts of that spread.

the ring : a contract, engagement
the cross : something sure, karmic, definitive, a cross to bear (but it is not always a bad card, as one might believe !)
the child : the renewal

the cut of the deck was the Bear and the Tower : it seemed to represent her boss who was the one taking the decision about the contract being renewed or not.

The House : a flash card

And here is the fourth flash card dedicated to the House card of the Lenormand deck. I decided to make a composition around an egg. Again played with many filters and removed some part of the pictures, trying to give a sense of blending. I purposely decided to give a sort of dark look, and not too naive, yet not creepy … a sense of eeriness was the one thing I was aiming for ….

The House (4)

The card displays a house in nice surroundings. A house is representing something that makes you feel secure. It is build on foundations, with solid materials and is supposed to last a long time and be a place of peace in this world of madness. The house represent your home, your family, physical property. It stands for stability. Your private life. Your refuge.
If your reading is about work : it may imply you are working from home, or that your work is secure, there is stability concerning the workplace. If it is about love, it means a stable relationship. It represents long term plans when in love. Being in love with your significant other for quite some time already also.

This is a basic approach of the card, hope this helps.
