This is the 6th post about the workshop dedicated on the topic of the Grand Tableau. The Querent’s card is located in house 19, the house of the Tower. The Queren’t card has 2 cards above itself : the Storks and the Mice. The Storks’s keywords are : change, flexibility, evolution. The Mice’s keywords are : stress, worries, exhaustion, nervousness. The Mice also diminish the meaning of the surrounding card. The Mice is in the house of the Ship, in house 3. And the Storks is in the house of the Whip, house 11.
The Mice in combination of the meaning of the 3rd house (the Ship) is speaking of a difficult transition. The desired change is not taking place easily.
The Storks in combination with the meaning of the house 11 (the Whip) may mean a change after a conversation or it speaks about some sort of physical training.
This could actually refer to several things : I wish to move, but it is not the right time to do so; and I have to wait. Same with traveling, I would love to do some city trips, but as I am trying to put some money on the side … I am waiting a better time to do so. And finally, the problems I am having with my back and neck are definitely eating up my energy. Thus, as a conclusion, there is a sensation of being stuck in a rut at the moment. Nothing to bad though, I know it is just a question of timing, this is not going to last forever … I am making the most with staying at home right now, writing my book ! Hope this helps,
Cheers

I finally decided to see a doctor for my neck and back problems. I just hope the treatment won’t make me feel good for 3 days and then back to starting painful point again. What I want is the problem to be fixed for once and for all. I got my appointment tomorrow and decided to pick 5 cards to see how this would go.
Here are the 5 cards I got :

the Mountain, the Ring, the Tower, the Moon, the Anchor
the Mountain shows the blockage : at one point I couldn’t move at all. I don’t think there is another card in the deck that could be more appropriate to reflect the situation. I always see it as a good sign whenever there is a card pulled that is telling me I am being focused while doing the reading.
the Ring : that is the chronic aspect of the problem. It happens every now and then. Some muscles in my back or disks in my neck are going haywire every now and then. Ring whenever related to health may means “chronic”.
the Tower could be an hospital. But here it is a medical facility : his own office, I suppose. Also to me, the structure of the tower evokes the vertebrae, my neck, my back …. Structure anyway. And when I am blocked I feel as stiff as that Tower. The neck brace around my neck is sure making me look like some sort of stiff tower
On a sidenote, of course, I have to answer about 50 times a day question like does it hurt ? how did it happen ? and so on … I yet manage to get a lot of fun out of it. Each and every time I am making up stories. The one that works the best is “I did parachute jumping this week end” (pause)… “and guess what … the ‘chute DIDN T open !” (looks of distress and shrieks of my audience) … me : “well, I am ok you know, I mean … the instructor who was jumping with me is way worse than me, …. I landed on him !” … (pause).. me “but you know what, I got everything on camera, wanna see the film ?” People are actually buying this stuff, I am apparently very good at this. SIGH I totally missed my call … I should have gone into acting and I would at least make money out of making myself look like a total goofball. Awesome.
The Moon : my appointment is taking place rather late in the day. Also, here the Moon shows the instability and my worries about the problem. And finally whenever I am under pressure, the problem increases.
The Anchor : could represent the return to stability. (the use of an instrument ?). But as it is the card representing work also, this could be my final decision to seek for professional help. I can’t let the situation as it is … I thought that the problem was over, but every now and then my neck hurts so bad, I have to go and seek some advice.
I think that the cut was very well representing the (hoped) outcome of the appointment, by the way

the Storks and the Child : the return to flexibility. Well, I truly hope so. I am going tomorrow, so hopefully I will post the feedback very soon
Cheers

Here is a case analysis about situation at the workplace. Will there be a renewal of the contract ?
Cards describing the querent : The Bouquet, The Crossroad, The Storks

These cards are describing the person in front of the situation. Accepting changes gracefully, willing to take an opportunity, seeing the positive aspect in a change. The other cards in the spread were not that positive as you can read below … But it is anyway showing that even if the answer is not good in the end, she has the opportunity to bounce back, which may be more important in the long run.
the bouquet : beauty, happiness, grace, a very positive card
the crossroad : decision , moving, parting of ways
the stork : change, moving, flexibility
The Cloud, The Moon, The Snake

The surrounding energy at work : worries caused by the atmosphere at the working place which is not good. Stabbing in the back may take place, one is not anyway able to see the trouble stated there in full clarity, one can only feel it if being intuitive.
the clouds : troubles, clouded thinking, arguments
the moon : intuition, creativity, feelings (always look at the surrounding cards with the moon, it seems to grab the energy of the surrounding cards, it is a very emphatic card)
the snake : knowledge, a woman, troubles, snickering person, someone difficult ( for good or bad)
The Mice, the Fox, the House

State of things right now : one doesn’t belong to the same family as the rest of the people at work. Loss of the job is strongly indicated here. To the very least, it is very feared. To the least, the situation is eating you up (the mice) as you feel on the watch (the fox) at the working place (House associated with the fox).
the mice : loss, anxiety, nervousness
the fox someone with an agenda, elements held in the background, lies, treat (and sometimes represents work, employee)
the house : working place
The Ring, the Cross and the Child

what will happen concretely : the contract won’t be renewed. This was my conclusion in regard to the other parts of that spread.
the ring : a contract, engagement
the cross : something sure, karmic, definitive, a cross to bear (but it is not always a bad card, as one might believe !)
the child : the renewal
the cut of the deck was the Bear and the Tower : it seemed to represent her boss who was the one taking the decision about the contract being renewed or not.
Hope you found the break down of the analysis helpful,

Here is another case study with the Lenormand cards. This time it is a reading about the querent’s financial situation. Basically the querent has been through a period of harsh financial times and wanted to know whether this would last or would improve !
The key card chosen was the card representing the cash flow, thus The Bear.

the Dog (18), The Snake (7), The Letter (27), the Bear (15), the Horseman (1), the Child (13), the Fish (34)
The cards on the left are representing the past troubles, especially with the Snake. The cards on the right though are showing that her cashflow is going to improve. The Rider shows the move about the topic, here money. The Child offers novelty, and/or something small. And finally the Fishes that may represent wealthier times ahead. We didn’t speak much about it, but the cards on the left seemed to imply a cheat around a contract, a deception around her activities. The Fish also might speak of a free lance activity, not an employee. Currently though, she is an employee …
It then surfaced that the querent wished to develop a project along her job and wasn’t sure that it would be beneficial financially. The querent wanted to keep her job at the time being (for safety) and start to develop her project on the side. So this is not about leaving a job abruptly, but going on smoothly from one level to another. This question asked was : Could that activity be interesting financially ?
That activity could only be developed as a free lance and not as an employee. Therefore the Fish was chosen.

the Clover (2), the Storks (17), the Child (13), The Fish (34), the Bear (15), The Horseman (1), the Key (33).
Only positive cards here. The Clover, the Storks and the Child seemed to say that the change would be making her very happy about it, and the Child means novelty but also small. Next to the Storks which means changes, this seems to be linked to our previous conversation around the first draw. The changes would be done step by step, in order to make things secure. (It is always nice to get clues like that, clues that are telling you that you are proceeding and reading the right way). The Key on the absolute right are giving an indication that there might be security to be found in the end. The Bear speaks about the financial aspect of the question of course, and also very positive here on the right side of the Fish, as it increases the potential for her to make money. (Bear means big). The Rider is yet another clue that money is indeed coming in ! And the Key is also a sign that this is the way to go for her. Being a free lance is what is going to be beneficial for her in the long run.
Hope you enjoyed this case analysis,
Cheers

Hi there,
this is yet another case study using the 2 paths spread. Some years ago, the querent made a trip overseas, and she is actually wondering if it would be wise for her to go next summer over there again. As this is a long travel, I picked the ship as the theme card. The theme card is always taken out of the deck and placed on the table before picking up the other cards.
Question asked : is it wise for her to travel overseas next summer ?
first line stands for “if the querent is going”, the second line is “if the querent is not going”.
Here is the first line :

the Clouds, the Whip, the Star, the Mice, the Storks
This doesn’t look too good. The Clouds speaks about confusion and the Whip indicates troubles and arguments about this ideal (the Star). The Mice and the Storks are there to show that there would be losses, stressful changes along the way. The fact that the Storks are ending the line are though positive, changes can still be coming but the “flight” of the Storks will only take place if the underlying issues shown by the previous cards are resolved. Better wait before crossing the ocean !

The second line on the contrary is incredibly positive ! The Man and the Letter, followed by the Clover speaks about a positive and uplifting message from a man. The querent is single so there might be something very interesting here … The Woman and the Bouquet is the querent and it shows her as being content and very happy. The Letter and the Bouquet can both be a sign of a proposition and/or invitation. Chances are that by next summer, there will be a change of plans and something very positive will take place. Something that will make her a lot happier than that trip overseas.
Feedback to come !
hope you enjoyed this case study around the Lenormand cards,
Cheers

This is a post about little pets and bigger ones too
Some Lenormands cards can actually be related to animals and give you informations about them.
The obvious ones : the Dog ! And the Fish ! The Snake as well, of course. But the Snake may also stands for any kind of reptiles, geckos, … that kind of exotic animals. (Exotism is also indicated especially whenever the Ship is around). The Birds cards : little birds, poultry, owls … The Storks is for bigger birds. The Mice, apart for little mice, can be for hamsters, rats, weasel, beaver …
Maybe less obvious, the Fox can stands for Cats. For bigger animals the Bear is perfect. But the horse will be represented by the Rider.
The Tower may represent the refugee, the vet clinic. The Garden could be the place where you “train” the dog, or the horse. Actually, recently I had it in a reading and it stood for the zoo !

The Storks are a sign that things are moving. You might actually expect those changes and initiate them, or be surprised as they happen without you doing anything. It might imply that you are moving house or that a change is going to come in your house such as the addition in the family : a child. Usually the storks are a good sign. Things are evolving. You are going to the next level. The changes might be totally unexpected though and you might feel like you have to run all over the place. Storks are building a nest, and then it doesn’t take too long before they fly away, and are going to some other place. They represents changes and opportunities. Flexibility, transition and evolution are the main theme brought by the storks. I love this card by the way. Don’t expect this card to represent someone who like to stay at home and watch TV, this individual is going to be out and having fun, a nomad who enjoys life and the challenges it brings !
