Daily reading N°2 about Paris, France

HI there,

this is the second daily drawing about my little trip to Paris. Prior to the drawing, I already knew where I was going. So the house here should not be read as my home place, or the hotel room … because I definitely didn’t stay in !

the house, the heart, the anchor, the whip, the child.

Again, I propose this as a little exercise to be edited later on with the answer.
What about that second day in Paris ? What do you think ?

Cheers,
Jayce

This is where I went in the morning : the Moulin Rouge … Quite mythical right ? just next to my hotel, it was a small walk.

le-moulin-rouge

The Moulin Rouge really well in the cards through the house+heart+anchor

see how the anchor evokes the 4 sides of the windmill ?
also the House and the Heart could evoke the Sacre Coeur, but … I guess the cross would have been there … the Whip is more like showing the “stimulating” aspect of this place of the city : the Moulin Rouge, Folies Pigalle, and the Erotic museum …

sacre-coeur

This is the Sacre Coeur : I went in and it is quite breathtaking. Pictures are not allowed inside though (which I understand). I bought some stuff such as a statue of the Virgin Mary for my father who is ill and so, she will protect him. At the top of the stair, you have one of the most beautiful sight !

manege-sacre-coeur

this is the Manege just in front of the Sacre Coeur before you take the steps up.

mime-sacre-coeur

and a mime just as you are about to take the steps heading to the Sacre Coeur. I took so many pictures of the place !

peintre-butte-montmartre

This is Montmartre with la Butte Montmartre as it is called, with painters …

I have had the typical lunch there chez Eugene : a Fish Soup ! Of course, it is filled with tourist, but still I loved it ! There are so many things to see there … I loved the atmosphere of it …

voila, see you for the next reading still about my little city trip to Paris

    Hi Jayce,

Looks like you went visiting to see someone who was very dear to you, that it was a place that you’ve been before and know well. Would say a friend’s home, have they emigrated there at all (just a thought, given Anchor is in the middle!). With the Whips card, was a bit concerned that someone was either in pain or had some small niggling worries. One other thought was that you know this place/person from childhood (and if a person, male).

    Hi Mouse,

actually I went to Paris all alone and I don’t know (yet) someone there. The place : yes I have been there before, and it is a place that is special to me. But I have been to other places during that day as well. The whip here is should be seen as something (let’s say) stimulating, raising interest. It could be also viewed as me being very “physical” walking around that day practically non stop, and being like a child, looking around, discovering …

here is a clue : the house + the heart + the anchor all together should conjure an image about a place !

I am keeping the suspense here LOL

In that case, it’s got to be the Eiffel Tower or the Champs Elysees, but then I only visited as a kid and don’t remember much about it to be honest 🙂

Thanks for the pictures, Jayce………I have so many like them from my short time in Paris and these took me for a walk down memory lane.

I was thinking of the Anchor in its hope/faith aspect which led to my Sacre Coeur reasoning.

Thanks for taking the time to do this…………fun and good practice.
