Lenormand case study : a reading about a travel

Hi there,

this is yet another case study using the 2 paths spread. Some years ago, the querent made a trip overseas, and she is actually wondering if it would be wise for her to go next summer over there again. As this is a long travel, I picked the ship as the theme card. The theme card is always taken out of the deck and placed on the table before picking up the other cards.

Question asked : is it wise for her to travel overseas next summer ?

first line stands for “if the querent is going”, the second line is “if the querent is not going”.

Here is the first line :

the Clouds, the Whip, the Star, the Mice, the Storks

This doesn’t look too good. The Clouds speaks about confusion and the Whip indicates troubles and arguments about this ideal (the Star). The Mice and the Storks are there to show that there would be losses, stressful changes along the way. The fact that the Storks are ending the line are though positive, changes can still be coming but the “flight” of the Storks will only take place if the underlying issues shown by the previous cards are resolved. Better wait before crossing the ocean !

The second line on the contrary is incredibly positive ! The Man and the Letter, followed by the Clover speaks about a positive and uplifting message from a man. The querent is single so there might be something very interesting here … The Woman and the Bouquet is the querent and it shows her as being content and very happy. The Letter and the Bouquet can both be a sign of a proposition and/or invitation. Chances are that by next summer, there will be a change of plans and something very positive will take place. Something that will make her a lot happier than that trip overseas.

Feedback to come !

hope you enjoyed this case study around the Lenormand cards,
Cheers

Jayce
