Daily reading NĀ°1 about my trip in Paris, France

I am back from Paris, France and it has been wonderful. Cold weather but wonderful. I actually wished I could stay longer … I have made daily readings with my Lenormand cards. I don’t make daily readings usually. But here I just knew it would be interesting because I was taking a more than welcomed break from the routine. Thus the informations shown by the cards would be more interesting. I came to Paris on Friday end of the afternoon. My intention was to go out for the whole evening of course. Here are the cards :

the rider 01the birds 12the garden (20)the book 26the fish 34

the rider, the birds, the garden, the book, the fish

I am in a playful mode so I will update the post later on and keep the suspense a little bit … But what would be your take on this draw ? What happened that evening ? It would be interesting to use this draw as a sort of exercise šŸ˜€

Cheers

*Edited to Add*

well you were close ! And this was so much fun : I think I will post the other daily draws I’ve been doing the same way. It is interesting to see your comments. Thank you so much for that.

The Rider was there I guess to point out the fact that I was about to go out and about … My direction was the Champs Elysees ! So quite a lot of people …. the Christmas lightning was just wonderful : it was eerie. I walked the Champs up and down, looking at the windows, and enjoying the surrounding of people. I actually went inside the Virgin Megastore. There was a huge screen, displaying a live concert. Funnily enough, as I was going around the store; I thought ; the sound is so good, one could think the concert is taking place right here. well …. Actually I found out it was the case …. It wasn’t a DVD for sale displayed on the screen, but the live concert by Elodie Frege. The people, the fun, the concert : the birds cards. The lively place : the birds and the garden. The store : the Garden Card. Inside of the store, I went to the book section. I found many book and yes I splurged totally. I found 2 books on the tarot, 1 on the Lenormand, the “elementary particles” by Michel Houellebecq, and 3 other books with beautiful drawings (there are supposed to be for kids but they are related to poetry, psychology, …; a book about Paris …. and Yes, I bought them all !!! The Book and the Fish : the many many many books šŸ˜€

champs-elysees

The Book here and the Fish card were here not related to a dark stranger, but were to be taken literally in the case of the book, and the fish was to testify that they were many of them ! and of course, the splurge …
Those cards perfectly reflected the first part of my evening. I then went into a very fine restaurant and I celebrated with champagne and sea food. Cheers šŸ˜€

Reading about relationship

Hi there,

Phoenix proposed a very interesting spread on her blog which is http://phoenixoracle.wordpress.com/ which got my interest.

I like this spread as it doesn’t involve to many cards, and it yet proposes an advice. I first did a spread asking for a general. But the cards didn’t seem to focus on anything. I noted it down though and might post about it. But I did another reading focusing then about the topic of “relationship”. Here are the cards.

The mice 23the man 28the snake 07

—–the garden (20)the rider 01

——the lily 30

The situation : the Mice, the Man, the Snake
well, the man card is not in such good company here. Still, to remain on a positive note : the Mice diminish the surrounding cards. I would say here that I finally got rid of a nuisance. Someone destructive and a real troublemaker. It probably still have to work on it, the “getting over it”, as those cards show up representing the current situation.

The advice : the Garden, the Rider
Go out ! Get involved in an outside activity. Meet new people. I thought about going around for a walk in the park as well : there is one next to where I live.

The outcome : the Lily
I don’t know whether this stands for the season : the winter; or if it means there is some bliss to come my way but not very soon. The “not very soon” factor is because the Lily : it can take some time before evolving. Either way, the Lily is a good card that represents the return to a state that is the complete opposite of the Mice. A return to harmony.

I am always looking at the cut : in this reading it was the Clover and the Heart. It definitely looks like having some luck in matters of the heart.

Cheers,

Lenormand cards : a case study about finances

Here is another case study with the Lenormand cards. This time it is a reading about the querent’s financial situation. Basically the querent has been through a period of harsh financial times and wanted to know whether this would last or would improve !

The key card chosen was the card representing the cash flow, thus The Bear.

the Dog (18), The Snake (7), The Letter (27), the Bear (15), the Horseman (1), the Child (13), the Fish (34)

The cards on the left are representing the past troubles, especially with the Snake. The cards on the right though are showing that her cashflow is going to improve. The Rider shows the move about the topic, here money. The Child offers novelty, and/or something small. And finally the Fishes that may represent wealthier times ahead. We didn’t speak much about it, but the cards on the left seemed to imply a cheat around a contract, a deception around her activities. The Fish also might speak of a free lance activity, not an employee. Currently though, she is an employee …

It then surfaced that the querent wished to develop a project along her job and wasn’t sure that it would be beneficial financially. The querent wanted to keep her job at the time being (for safety) and start to develop her project on the side. So this is not about leaving a job abruptly, but going on smoothly from one level to another. This question asked was : Could that activity be interesting financially ?

That activity could only be developed as a free lance and not as an employee. Therefore the Fish was chosen.

the Clover (2), the Storks (17), the Child (13), The Fish (34), the Bear (15), The Horseman (1), the Key (33).

Only positive cards here. The Clover, the Storks and the Child seemed to say that the change would be making her very happy about it, and the Child means novelty but also small. Next to the Storks which means changes, this seems to be linked to our previous conversation around the first draw. The changes would be done step by step, in order to make things secure. (It is always nice to get clues like that, clues that are telling you that you are proceeding and reading the right way). The Key on the absolute right are giving an indication that there might be security to be found in the end. The Bear speaks about the financial aspect of the question of course, and also very positive here on the right side of the Fish, as it increases the potential for her to make money. (Bear means big). The Rider is yet another clue that money is indeed coming in ! And the Key is also a sign that this is the way to go for her. Being a free lance is what is going to be beneficial for her in the long run.

Hope you enjoyed this case analysis,
Cheers

The rider : working on the card concept

One fun way to get to know your deck is to redraw the cards, or play with the concept of it. Here is a “flash card” that is being done around the first card of the Lenormand deck : the Rider. This card displays most of the key concepts associated with that card. Even if you know the meaning of the card already, it is a nice way to rediscover it and get a fresh view. You have to click on it to view it full size. If you are new to the deck, I think this is a nice way to work with a deck and let your creativity flow.

Hope you enjoy it ! Cheers

Lenormand cards : animals

This is a post about little pets and bigger ones too šŸ™‚ Some Lenormands cards can actually be related to animals and give you informations about them.

The obvious ones : the Dog ! And the Fish ! The Snake as well, of course. But the Snake may also stands for any kind of reptiles, geckos, … that kind of exotic animals. (Exotism is also indicated especially whenever the Ship is around). The Birds cards : little birds, poultry, owls … The Storks is for bigger birds. The Mice, apart for little mice, can be for hamsters, rats, weasel, beaver …
Maybe less obvious, the Fox can stands for Cats. For bigger animals the Bear is perfect. But the horse will be represented by the Rider.
The Tower may represent the refugee, the vet clinic. The Garden could be the place where you “train” the dog, or the horse. Actually, recently I had it in a reading and it stood for the zoo !

Cheers,

Lenormand oracle deck : a case analysis about love

This is a case analysis with the Lenormand cards. The reading is about a love relationship, and I decided that the 2 paths spread would the one to give the most information. This spread uses a theme card, which is taken out of the deck and placed on the table. Since it is a reading about love, the theme card is The Heart (24). The 2 paths spread is useful to have informations and insights about 2 different options.

Context of the question : she is single, and is hoping for a relationship that would last and of course make her fulfilled and happy. She has a friend who is very kind, and at times, she’s been wondering whether that friendship would evolve into a love relationship. Or is there someone else out there for her ?

Question asked :
Is my friend meant to be my partner in a love relationship or am I meant to be with someone else ?

The cut : the Rider (1) + the Book (26).

The cut is indeed mysterious ! There is something definitely on the way. I don’t believe she is going to remain single that long. She is going to have unexpected news; or meet someone by surprise. Now, I have to look at the other cards because this may also be her friend (the rider) who is having a secret. Is he secretly attracted ? My first impression though was that there is someone coming, someone on the way. The book also seems to say that this person is unknown to the querent.

Now for the 2 lines :
The first line stands for the person the querent knows already, only a friend. No love relationship going on yet. The second line stands for some other person that might be the querent’s soulmate.

the Tree, the Scythe, the Mice, the Lady, the Child

The first line isn’t bad, but it seems to speak more about a story that would help her to rebound, gain some faith in life. But according to me, the idea of a relationship with that person is going to be short lived. The friendship may of course remain between the two of them, but it won’t be a love relationship. Actually I think the friend is here shown by the child card. He is someone playful and helping here to cope through the painful times (The Mice).

The Man, the Dog, the Clover, the Tower, the Key

The second line :
The Man card is easy to understand, and with the Dog by its side : it seems to scream “soulmate” right here. The Dog indicates someone faithful and that can be trusted. That one is a keeper : friendly, loving and reliable ! The Clover and the Tower might give some clues about the nature of the relationship or his personality. The Clover : funny, bright, good sense of humor, positive thinking. The Tower could mean that he is single and somewhat isolated. But also, may be an indication about the way he looks, the tower stands for someone tall. The Key is the yes card, that person is going to be a key player in her life. The key is a sign of destiny !

(On a sidenote, I also sensed that the Tower here was the sign of her ideal. This guy seems to be keeping up with her. The Child in the first line seems to say that her friend is just that : a friend, not someone who could live up to her high hopes and ideal. She needs a man, not a little boy …)

As a conclusion, better remain friends with the person she knows already. They are fond of each other and their friendship is stable. And there is someone coming into her life that is going to be her partner, and that person will be very important to her.

Feedback pending šŸ˜‰
She will keep me posted !

Hope you enjoyed the case analysis about this love reading,
Jayce

The rider (1)

The Rider is the first card in the Lenormand deck. What you see on the card : a man riding a horse. He is moving, going forward, active. He is usually the sign of receiving news, by the post or else, someone coming up your way. Whether the news is good or bad should be indicated by surrounding cards. It is an opportunity that may come your way, a sign that things are going forwards. Be prepared for a change. it shouldn’t be long before it get moving … Usually it represents a very short time frame. If you are for example waiting some news concerning a job, the feedback should be very soon. If the question is about love it is a good sign that new people are coming your way. It the question is related to your finances, you have new opportunities on your way. Finally if health related, it is a sign of vitality, someone active, if you have been sick it might be a sign that things are going better.
This is a basic description of what this card means, hope it helps,

Cheers
