Daily draw : a city trip to Brussels, Belgium

Hi there,

tomorrow I am going to Brussels. From what I have seen on this website, there are many things to see and to do. I am trying as much as I can to break my dull routine of working like a machine non stop and then going home and reading or watching tv. There is more to life than just that, right ? Here are the cards I pulled for this day.

the heart 24the tower 19the key 33the bear 15the birds 12

the heart, the tower, the key, the bear, the birds

here is what I am getting from this draw : I am going to love (the heart) my trip to Brussels (the tower being a big city, a capital); this is certain (the key). I will spend some money there and/or eat something (the bear). Also I might enjoy a conversation, the liveliness of the place (the birds). I am wondering now if the heart means meeting someone there, someone tall (the tower) and with a beard (the bear) ? Someone who is going to be a key event for the day (the key) and enjoy a conversation with him (the birds) ? It looks like I am going to spend a very nice Sunday over there … Christmas shopping looks like fun with those cards … I will put the feedback as an update and add pictures of the places visited as well !

Cheers

*edited*

It has been fun ! Made a lot of pictures that I will post later on. I ate a lot of little things here and there as I was discovering the little stands/shops put up for Christmas. (the bear). I also bought a few things as Christmas presents. There was a concert on the Great Market Place that was quite trippy ! Lightning effects, change of colors on tubes place vertically on the ground. The colors were making patterns, changing through the flow of the music. And it was really something to watch/listen in the nighttime. I walked a lot and I am rather tired now. I didn’t meet anyone, it was a rather lonely day even though it was fun. apparently the Tower here just meant the capital, or the fact that I was lonesome. The Heart : the fact I enjoyed the day. The Key is here I think meant to be read with the two following cards. The Bear all the treats along the way : candies, roasted nuts, warm red wine … and finally the Birds : the concert on the Great Market Place. I will post the pictures I have made later on, I am too tired to open the editing program to save the pictures on a lighter format for download right now …

Cheers,
Jayce

Reading about a position at work

Here is a case analysis about situation at the workplace. Will there be a renewal of the contract ?

Cards describing the querent : The Bouquet, The Crossroad, The Storks

These cards are describing the person in front of the situation. Accepting changes gracefully, willing to take an opportunity, seeing the positive aspect in a change. The other cards in the spread were not that positive as you can read below … But it is anyway showing that even if the answer is not good in the end, she has the opportunity to bounce back, which may be more important in the long run.

the bouquet : beauty, happiness, grace, a very positive card
the crossroad : decision , moving, parting of ways
the stork : change, moving, flexibility

The Cloud, The Moon, The Snake

The surrounding energy at work : worries caused by the atmosphere at the working place which is not good. Stabbing in the back may take place, one is not anyway able to see the trouble stated there in full clarity, one can only feel it if being intuitive.

the clouds : troubles, clouded thinking, arguments
the moon : intuition, creativity, feelings (always look at the surrounding cards with the moon, it seems to grab the energy of the surrounding cards, it is a very emphatic card)
the snake : knowledge, a woman, troubles, snickering person, someone difficult ( for good or bad)

The Mice, the Fox, the House

State of things right now : one doesn’t belong to the same family as the rest of the people at work. Loss of the job is strongly indicated here. To the very least, it is very feared. To the least, the situation is eating you up (the mice) as you feel on the watch (the fox) at the working place (House associated with the fox).

the mice : loss, anxiety, nervousness
the fox someone with an agenda, elements held in the background, lies, treat (and sometimes represents work, employee)
the house : working place

The Ring, the Cross and the Child

what will happen concretely : the contract won’t be renewed. This was my conclusion in regard to the other parts of that spread.

the ring : a contract, engagement
the cross : something sure, karmic, definitive, a cross to bear (but it is not always a bad card, as one might believe !)
the child : the renewal

the cut of the deck was the Bear and the Tower : it seemed to represent her boss who was the one taking the decision about the contract being renewed or not.

Hope you found the break down of the analysis helpful,
Jayce

Reading Case analysis around summer time romance

Hi there,

I yet have found a reading I did a while back which is around the topic of relationship.
Context : single, going on an extended holiday, wanting to know if a summer time romance would be on the menu !

The past (3 cards)

the Bear (15) , the Heart (24) , the Coffin (8)

This is reflecting the relationship that ended. That part of the spread was representing the past that ended, and has no more influence on her at the present. On a sidenote, the Bear is here standing as the very possessive nature of her ex lover. So sometimes, when you will see the Bear associated with the Heart, think about asking the querent whether she thinks her partner is possessive, jealous and such. When you do a reading using the “grand tableau”, you have more than 3 cards, and you will have more clues whether to translate that as possessiveness or just passion without the bad aspect such as jealousy. Of course, the Coffin here says that passion or that possessive relationship is over.

What is happening right now in regard of her decision (which is to find someone), opening the door to that eventuality. (3 cards)

the Cross (36), The Tree (5), The Crossroads (22)

She is actually at the Crossroads. The decision to leave her ex is one thing. But the fact that she now decides to find love is another decision. The Cross is there to imply she is making an important decision, she is at a turning point of her life. The Crossroads is at the end of the line so I see it as her leaving what is unnecessary behind and moving on. She has a high ideal and she is pursuing it. The high ideal is to me the combination shown by the Cross and the Tree.

The next future and the outcome of her question : Was she going to meet someone in the summer time ?

the Tower (19), the Sun (31), the Fish (34)

She was going on holiday and wanted to know if there was a potential for a relationship during summer time. I would have love to tell her about summer romance, but with that combo; it looked unlikely. It was showing a place by the ocean during the summer (the Sun with the Fish). Also implied it could be expensive ! But all in all, the Tower is not exactly the card you get announcing a relationship. The Tower stands for isolation, loneliness in this draw. It doesn’t mean an awful holiday but don’t expect to meet the love of your life. Be self reliant, enjoy the summer. Make the most of it, love is probably on the way but it will come later, at the right time !

Lenormand cards : animals

This is a post about little pets and bigger ones too 🙂 Some Lenormands cards can actually be related to animals and give you informations about them.

The obvious ones : the Dog ! And the Fish ! The Snake as well, of course. But the Snake may also stands for any kind of reptiles, geckos, … that kind of exotic animals. (Exotism is also indicated especially whenever the Ship is around). The Birds cards : little birds, poultry, owls … The Storks is for bigger birds. The Mice, apart for little mice, can be for hamsters, rats, weasel, beaver …
Maybe less obvious, the Fox can stands for Cats. For bigger animals the Bear is perfect. But the horse will be represented by the Rider.
The Tower may represent the refugee, the vet clinic. The Garden could be the place where you “train” the dog, or the horse. Actually, recently I had it in a reading and it stood for the zoo !

Lenormand oracle deck : a case analysis about love

This is a case analysis with the Lenormand cards. The reading is about a love relationship, and I decided that the 2 paths spread would the one to give the most information. This spread uses a theme card, which is taken out of the deck and placed on the table. Since it is a reading about love, the theme card is The Heart (24). The 2 paths spread is useful to have informations and insights about 2 different options.

Context of the question : she is single, and is hoping for a relationship that would last and of course make her fulfilled and happy. She has a friend who is very kind, and at times, she’s been wondering whether that friendship would evolve into a love relationship. Or is there someone else out there for her ?

Question asked :
Is my friend meant to be my partner in a love relationship or am I meant to be with someone else ?

The cut : the Rider (1) + the Book (26).

The cut is indeed mysterious ! There is something definitely on the way. I don’t believe she is going to remain single that long. She is going to have unexpected news; or meet someone by surprise. Now, I have to look at the other cards because this may also be her friend (the rider) who is having a secret. Is he secretly attracted ? My first impression though was that there is someone coming, someone on the way. The book also seems to say that this person is unknown to the querent.

Now for the 2 lines :
The first line stands for the person the querent knows already, only a friend. No love relationship going on yet. The second line stands for some other person that might be the querent’s soulmate.

the Tree, the Scythe, the Mice, the Lady, the Child

The first line isn’t bad, but it seems to speak more about a story that would help her to rebound, gain some faith in life. But according to me, the idea of a relationship with that person is going to be short lived. The friendship may of course remain between the two of them, but it won’t be a love relationship. Actually I think the friend is here shown by the child card. He is someone playful and helping here to cope through the painful times (The Mice).

The Man, the Dog, the Clover, the Tower, the Key

The second line :
The Man card is easy to understand, and with the Dog by its side : it seems to scream “soulmate” right here. The Dog indicates someone faithful and that can be trusted. That one is a keeper : friendly, loving and reliable ! The Clover and the Tower might give some clues about the nature of the relationship or his personality. The Clover : funny, bright, good sense of humor, positive thinking. The Tower could mean that he is single and somewhat isolated. But also, may be an indication about the way he looks, the tower stands for someone tall. The Key is the yes card, that person is going to be a key player in her life. The key is a sign of destiny !

(On a sidenote, I also sensed that the Tower here was the sign of her ideal. This guy seems to be keeping up with her. The Child in the first line seems to say that her friend is just that : a friend, not someone who could live up to her high hopes and ideal. She needs a man, not a little boy …)

As a conclusion, better remain friends with the person she knows already. They are fond of each other and their friendship is stable. And there is someone coming into her life that is going to be her partner, and that person will be very important to her.

Feedback pending 😉
She will keep me posted !

Hope you enjoyed the case analysis about this love reading,
Jayce

The Tower (19)

The tower stands for authority, an institution. Hierarchy : if it stands for a person, it can be your boss. It this cards describes an individual : he or she is tall ! If it is not a physical attribute but related to personality, this individual might be somewhat haughty, arrogant. But some people seem to be that way just because they are somewhat shy, and tower also relates to loneliness, so that is not to be forgotten : arrogance might be only a facade … But it may imply that a person is demanding because having high expectations and not settle for second best ! Protection is offered by the tower, elevation and success as well. In relationship reading though it may imply loneliness or being separated. What should always be remembered : whether it is work, financial, relationship related matters, things needs strong foundations in order to elevates itself and stand for a long time.
