Hi there,
tomorrow I am going to Brussels. From what I have seen on this website, there are many things to see and to do. I am trying as much as I can to break my dull routine of working like a machine non stop and then going home and reading or watching tv. There is more to life than just that, right ? Here are the cards I pulled for this day.
the heart, the tower, the key, the bear, the birds
here is what I am getting from this draw : I am going to love (the heart) my trip to Brussels (the tower being a big city, a capital); this is certain (the key). I will spend some money there and/or eat something (the bear). Also I might enjoy a conversation, the liveliness of the place (the birds). I am wondering now if the heart means meeting someone there, someone tall (the tower) and with a beard (the bear) ? Someone who is going to be a key event for the day (the key) and enjoy a conversation with him (the birds) ? It looks like I am going to spend a very nice Sunday over there … Christmas shopping looks like fun with those cards … I will put the feedback as an update and add pictures of the places visited as well !

It has been fun ! Made a lot of pictures that I will post later on. I ate a lot of little things here and there as I was discovering the little stands/shops put up for Christmas. (the bear). I also bought a few things as Christmas presents. There was a concert on the Great Market Place that was quite trippy ! Lightning effects, change of colors on tubes place vertically on the ground. The colors were making patterns, changing through the flow of the music. And it was really something to watch/listen in the nighttime. I walked a lot and I am rather tired now. I didn’t meet anyone, it was a rather lonely day even though it was fun. apparently the Tower here just meant the capital, or the fact that I was lonesome. The Heart : the fact I enjoyed the day. The Key is here I think meant to be read with the two following cards. The Bear all the treats along the way : candies, roasted nuts, warm red wine … and finally the Birds : the concert on the Great Market Place. I will post the pictures I have made later on, I am too tired to open the editing program to save the pictures on a lighter format for download right now …

the same day as I visited le Sacre Coeur, Montmartre and the quartier Pigalle with the Moulin Rouge; I went through the streets just discovering things as I went along. I must have been lucky. I found a little boutique selling just about anything you can think (and more) about angels. Statues, medals, earrings, postal cards, books posters … Even a little perfume called “the perfume of angels” … Name it and they have it. Here is a picture of the frontside of the boutique. I waited for about 10 minutes but there were always people coming in and out. Finally due to the fact that it was very cold and that I longed for a hot beverage, I took the picture you see below. I just blurred the people. I purchased some stuff inside. I asked if I could take a picture inside of the boutique; but the lady (very polite, smiling) was clearly embarrassed. She said they authorized one picture only. And she probably said that because I purchased many oracle decks about angels. So I just said ok then, and took no picture of the inside. (I will make another post about the decks I have purchased there).
At the end of the street, as I was seeking for a place to drink a huge hot coffee, I found out a very famous place again in Paris. La librairie des Abbesses. here is an article about it (in French though). Marie-Rose Guarniéri is the owner of the place and is also responsible for the Prix Wepler which is given every year in the Brasserie of the same name, place Clichy. She was in the shop as I entered to have a look; discussing with her staff about how to place certain books. I just can’t help entering places where you find books. Here I loved how the wooden floor was making noise under my boots as I was perusing the many novel’s titles within the bookshop. Aaaah, the smell of books.
I then took the metro and went to some more adventure within the city. I did a draw (with the lenormand cards) for the next part of my trip which will probably be the subject of the next post. Oh and I just love the design of those metro’s entrance. This is what I love about Paris, it is such a treat to the eyes. You just feel like humming along as you walk in the street, just as if you are in a movie or something.

HI there,
this is the second daily drawing about my little trip to Paris. Prior to the drawing, I already knew where I was going. So the house here should not be read as my home place, or the hotel room … because I definitely didn’t stay in !

Again, I propose this as a little exercise to be edited later on with the answer.

This is where I went in the morning : the Moulin Rouge … Quite mythical right ? just next to my hotel, it was a small walk.
The Moulin Rouge really well in the cards through the house+heart+anchor
see how the anchor evokes the 4 sides of the windmill ?
also the House and the Heart could evoke the Sacre Coeur, but … I guess the cross would have been there … the Whip is more like showing the “stimulating” aspect of this place of the city : the Moulin Rouge, Folies Pigalle, and the Erotic museum …
This is the Sacre Coeur : I went in and it is quite breathtaking. Pictures are not allowed inside though (which I understand). I bought some stuff such as a statue of the Virgin Mary for my father who is ill and so, she will protect him. At the top of the stair, you have one of the most beautiful sight !

I have had the typical lunch there chez Eugene : a Fish Soup ! Of course, it is filled with tourist, but still I loved it ! There are so many things to see there … I loved the atmosphere of it …

I am back from Paris, France and it has been wonderful. Cold weather but wonderful. I actually wished I could stay longer … I have made daily readings with my Lenormand cards. I don’t make daily readings usually. But here I just knew it would be interesting because I was taking a more than welcomed break from the routine. Thus the informations shown by the cards would be more interesting. I came to Paris on Friday end of the afternoon. My intention was to go out for the whole evening of course. Here are the cards :

I am in a playful mode so I will update the post later on and keep the suspense a little bit … But what would be your take on this draw ? What happened that evening ? It would be interesting to use this draw as a sort of exercise 😀

The Rider was there I guess to point out the fact that I was about to go out and about … My direction was the Champs Elysees ! So quite a lot of people …. the Christmas lightning was just wonderful : it was eerie. I walked the Champs up and down, looking at the windows, and enjoying the surrounding of people. I actually went inside the Virgin Megastore. There was a huge screen, displaying a live concert. Funnily enough, as I was going around the store; I thought ; the sound is so good, one could think the concert is taking place right here. well …. Actually I found out it was the case …. It wasn’t a DVD for sale displayed on the screen, but the live concert by Elodie Frege. The people, the fun, the concert : the birds cards. The lively place : the birds and the garden. The store : the Garden Card. Inside of the store, I went to the book section. I found many book and yes I splurged totally. I found 2 books on the tarot, 1 on the Lenormand, the “elementary particles” by Michel Houellebecq, and 3 other books with beautiful drawings (there are supposed to be for kids but they are related to poetry, psychology, …; a book about Paris …. and Yes, I bought them all !!! The Book and the Fish : the many many many books 😀
The Book here and the Fish card were here not related to a dark stranger, but were to be taken literally in the case of the book, and the fish was to testify that they were many of them ! and of course, the splurge …
Those cards perfectly reflected the first part of my evening. I then went into a very fine restaurant and I celebrated with champagne and sea food. Cheers 😀

Hi there, I have currently Uranus in transit making a trine to my natal conjunction Moon/Venus. Over the years, I have noticed that astrology transits are very effective. Astrology is something I have studied : noting down the aspects of transits at major turns in my life. There never was a major event that wasn’t reflecting in transits. A trine is an aspect of 120 degree, and it speaks here of an opportunity. As 2 planets will be affected by the transit, there will be some major changes coming in. As the planet transiting is Uranus the transit will be a “surprise”.
Uranus is the planet of awakening, sudden shock and surprise. Some keywords : originality, inventors, computers, cutting edge technologies. It is the joker, the wild card of the universe.
An array of possibilities can be here triggered, the Lenormand cards are used here to seek out which out of all the possibilities is going to be given birth to.
I did a 5 cards reading to see what exactly this trine would bring into my life. Here are the cards :

The relationship between the Coffin and Uranus is quite interesting to have here. This is actually a great example of the Coffin not necessarily being a “bad” card. It speaks of a major life’s alteration. Uranus is a new way of looking at things ! As the transit is a trine , it is going to be taking place smoothly into my life.
Uranus disrupt, change, and re-do whatever it touches. Some things are going to be changed forever. The Coffin is the end of a life cycle. Looking forward. This could really mean the end of being single. Especially since the Heart is there in 5 cards. This will break up the rigid past and challenges. Viable patterns for the present are able to step into my life. I have to admit I can’t wait to have some changes brought into my “routine” right now. I had some very tough times the last 10 years, and I am fed up with tragedies and losses. I want my life back.
Next card is the Bear. It may represents someone. Most of the time, the Bear is a man. Keywords : strong and powerful. Someone protective, caring, generous.
The Bear associated with the Heart : someone with a good heart, generous. A passion on the way ?
The Heart is for tenderness, generosity, love, romance. The conjunction of Moon and Venus are I guess represented here by this card. As the Heart is central in the draw, it seems to act as a focus.
The Birds : this is the card of verbal communication, chat, gossip. Also the cards for a couple. Directly following the Heart, it looks like being in a romance is coming around the corner.
The Crossroads speaks again of the choice, the opportunity. I see it here as meaning life getting into a new direction.
I always look at the cut : the Key associated with the Ship. Key is the Yes card. The Ship can stand for many things, here I suppose it is the longing for something. The Combination speaks about a dream to come true. The ship speaks also of travel, and being abroad. Maybe it speaks about a future move, indicated in the 5 cards by the Crossroads.

This is the 6th post about the workshop dedicated on the topic of the Grand Tableau. The Querent’s card is located in house 19, the house of the Tower. The Queren’t card has 2 cards above itself : the Storks and the Mice. The Storks’s keywords are : change, flexibility, evolution. The Mice’s keywords are : stress, worries, exhaustion, nervousness. The Mice also diminish the meaning of the surrounding card. The Mice is in the house of the Ship, in house 3. And the Storks is in the house of the Whip, house 11.
The Mice in combination of the meaning of the 3rd house (the Ship) is speaking of a difficult transition. The desired change is not taking place easily.
The Storks in combination with the meaning of the house 11 (the Whip) may mean a change after a conversation or it speaks about some sort of physical training.
This could actually refer to several things : I wish to move, but it is not the right time to do so; and I have to wait. Same with traveling, I would love to do some city trips, but as I am trying to put some money on the side … I am waiting a better time to do so. And finally, the problems I am having with my back and neck are definitely eating up my energy. Thus, as a conclusion, there is a sensation of being stuck in a rut at the moment. Nothing to bad though, I know it is just a question of timing, this is not going to last forever … I am making the most with staying at home right now, writing my book ! Hope this helps,

Continuing the theory about the Grand Tableau. The cards above the querent’s card are representing what is on the querent’s mind at the moment. Depending on the position of the querent within the grand Tableau : you may have 1 to 4 cards above you, or none at all if you are on the top row. Whenever your card is within the top row, remember, it means you are very future oriented, especially if the card is within the left part of the line. If you have 4 cards above your card, it means there might quite a lot of things on your mind, that might be upsetting you or that you are taking in consideration before making the next steps on your life path. I was thinking about the combination the Garden and the Rider I got as an advice yesterday. This clearly means I should go out there, and have some fun, make new acquaintance. I did a reading with the Garden as a keycard, asking “What kind of place ?”. Here are the cards (they should be read in a line).

I remember the 4 central cards I just had when I did my Grand Tableau : Mountain, Lily, Garden and the Anchor. There are some strong connections between the 2 apparently. When doing the Grand Tableau, I was actually asking myself if that meant a place in the mountain, a remote location, Canada, North America, some sort of a resort … And I am finding those cards again in this no layout spread around the theme card : the Garden.
The Clouds and the Ship together in combination seem to imply that there is a distance : I should get there by plane, or train. But it is not next to where I live.
The Ship and the Tree and the Garden. That is some sort of a spiritual gathering. I actually thought of going to some conferences around topics that interest me. I don’t plan to travel in the very next future … this is very intriguing. Maybe these cards are simply telling something that is not going to happen in the next future, but later on. That would actually make sense. The Tree before the Garden could mean a park, but also adds a spiritual notion to it. It is anyway a quiet place, filled with nice energies.
The Garden and the Mountain : This place is a remote place, maybe in the Mountain.
The Mountain and the Lily : a place in winter, under the snow, a high spiritual place. Very serene.
The Lily and the Bouquet followed by the Man : I could meet someone there. The Bouquet means beauty but also Joy, Happiness.
As a conclusion, this could speak about a conference, a seminar, a place where one feels concerned about a spiritual path. Or simply a very quiet place. The place is located far away, not in my neighborhood. I intended to go to a shop that sells tarot cards and books; but I am not sure this is the place that this draw is referring to. According to me, this speaks about another place than that shop. We’ll see. But I don’t intend to go in a remote place in the mountain at the moment. Yet, this is actually what the cards seem to speak about. I will see how this unfolds ! Feel free to add your comments ! 🙂

I like this spread as it doesn’t involve to many cards, and it yet proposes an advice. I first did a spread asking for a general. But the cards didn’t seem to focus on anything. I noted it down though and might post about it. But I did another reading focusing then about the topic of “relationship”. Here are the cards.

The situation : the Mice, the Man, the Snake
well, the man card is not in such good company here. Still, to remain on a positive note : the Mice diminish the surrounding cards. I would say here that I finally got rid of a nuisance. Someone destructive and a real troublemaker. It probably still have to work on it, the “getting over it”, as those cards show up representing the current situation.
The advice : the Garden, the Rider
Go out ! Get involved in an outside activity. Meet new people. I thought about going around for a walk in the park as well : there is one next to where I live.
The outcome : the Lily
I don’t know whether this stands for the season : the winter; or if it means there is some bliss to come my way but not very soon. The “not very soon” factor is because the Lily : it can take some time before evolving. Either way, the Lily is a good card that represents the return to a state that is the complete opposite of the Mice. A return to harmony.
I am always looking at the cut : in this reading it was the Clover and the Heart. It definitely looks like having some luck in matters of the heart.
